I keep thinking to myself that the axe kick would be an interesting thing to see in MMA, but then I realize that it's really very easily countered by a takedown. This is why high kicks are seldomly seen in MMA. I wonder how well Andy would've done in Pride or UFC.

@terrorsquadlith He has a habit of getting caught like that. His only loss on knockout ever was when he barged forward hands against against Sem Schilt. The result was an already murderous jab multiplied by Sefo's own charging speed that when it impacted looked like Sefo was going to die on the spot.
Pretty silly if you realise such things can cut entire careers short both from neurological damage and unnecessary losses.

Andy was one of the few guys who gave Ray a beating when Ray was still in his prime (today, Ray is no longer in his prime... he got a bit too heavy and isn't as fast as he was back then, like here)
Oh, and Andy rocked - for a guy who was rather small, he has a POWERFUL left leg and solid boxing.
