Battle Bakraid Stage 6 (Final) Normal Course

Battle Bakraid - Unlimited version (Japan) (1999) by Eighting. Emulated by MAMEUI32.

This is recording of the final stage of battle bakraid normal course and my first Battle Bakraid 1cc. Ship chosen: Buster Lizard (A). Not the most popular choice mostly because it's almost as weak as my skills, fun to play with though.

This run was recorded a bit over a month ago but I forgot to upload this (I'm only uploading the final stage).

Personally this would be one of my favourite shmups but the scoring system is honestly saying simply retarded: In the superplay video I saw off a player doing ALL clear from advanced route the player died over 30 times and just abused deaths/bombs to keep high multiplier. Of course it's not the player's fault but my point is that the scoring and extend system is incredibly broken.
But as a stage this is one of my biggest favorites among arcade games. The music is great and defeating all those minibosses and gigamanta is quite rewarding (Of course not point wise since you don't get nothing bonus even if you no miss with full lives :P)

What's the problem with it? That doesn't say very much.

Try earlier versions of the emulator, be sure you have the right ROM and have ROM directory set correct.

How do you get the Buster Lizard? I've looked on GameFAQs and the shmup forums and drew a complete blank.

Also, Grell is a real ass considering he's a miniboss. I've yet to beat him without bombing or dying.

Which version of the game are you playing? The unlimited version of the game has 5 more aircraft you can choose from, I don't know about other differences. I hope this clears up things for you.

By the way I made a mistake in the video description saying this was USA version but in fact this is 'Battle Bakraid - Unlimited Version (Japan) (Tue 8 Jun 1999)'

How do you get the unlimited version? Is it a dip switch?

Are you playing on MAME or from Arcade PCB? If you're playing on MAME you will need to download the 'bbakradu' addon.

@atrocity3010 Tiamat's the real pain as a miniboss. I always die trying to beat him without losing a life. And whwn it comes to the first miniboss, I always faced Jabberwock first each time I play.

Maybe the USA Version the Battle Bakraid on MAME Arcade Game Version is 0.138 and also the Armed Police Batrider the USA and Taiwan Version so Good

How do you get the game to run? It tells me that certain files are missing, but I checked and they're all there in the ROM folder where they should be. can you help?
