  • Thanks alot for this man. I really appreciate it. Cheers

  • if this had clear coat on it you would have fucked it up by doing this lol

  • @evanellakb It's the hash

  • It is not completely wrong and the results prove it. Compare the beginning to the end and only an anal retentive would not be satisfied with the difference. He's not polishing a new BMW.

  • @topgun182 You use a dual action machine to prevent and get rid of swirls.

how much help can you get from a person that does it completly WRONG, yep nothing, his intentions may be good but if you want to help people do it the Right way and that is not how he is doing it.

just watch vids like : watch?v=qmBACx72h4g and see how the pro's do it and listen to them say it takes YEARS to master a rotary and still leaves swirls.

    more vids: watch?v=CAPN4I2Oo4o

  • Don't you love the high and mighty experts who come here to shoot down these videos of people who took their time to help out those who don't know how to DIY? They seem to forget that this is YOUTUBE not some tech school class. People come here to get the basics, not a degree. If you want to hold a professional class for free and tape it, tell us where to watch, and keep your elitist attitudes in check. We are all impressed by your vast knowledge, so put it to good use or shut up.

  • @happymark1805 I beg to differ. every rotary tool leaves swirls. it's technique that removes them. How long has clay been used in the industry? Besides all of that, he was restoring what the average person would have considered a ruined paint job and would have repainted. Secondly, you would do well to notice that this is part 1 of 2 and watch the second video before making your derogatory comments. Unlike you, he is trying to be helpful and showing you how to use a tool, you're just being one.

  • @topgun182 Yes and the results are very poor, thats why I would never let someone like that near my car, for example I use a dual action machine not a rotary, a dual action machine does not make swirls and is much safer than a rotary cause it does not burn the paint.

Also after you wash a car the first this you do is clay the car, and after you have used a heavy cutting compound you clean the surface because it has to be clean before using the next compound.

He does not know what he is doing.

  • @happymark1805 I would say the results speak for themselves.

  • You did not use clay after washing the car, and you did not clean the panel after the first (heavy) rubbing compound so you are mixing heavy cutting compound with mild cutting compound, are you sure you know what you are doing ??!
