@TatsuraJ I can't remember well... I think it's just one of those bonus lens things? Like Blast, Zero, etc.

It's her normal behaviour in battles, as a ghost... XD I doubt she did that when she was living. The needles embedded in her arms are what make her dangerous, so grabbing onto people would hurt them.
Her worst/creepiest attack is where she silently teleports out of sight, ending up right behind you. If you don't move, she brings her arms up and blinds you by impaling her needles in your face. D: Around 3:10. Yay for temporary blindness.
