Hey guys just a little video of my Wraithlord. Below is how I have painted it so far: (this is mostly for me:) )
Base coat in white. I used an armory white spray.
Next I put several coats of P3 beaten purple on the purple areas and P3 'Jack bone on the offwhite parts. Alternatively you could have used GW lich purple and GW bleached bone.
Next I highlighted the bone color area with a P3 Marrow White (alternatively GW skull white)
Next I began the vines. I drew my design in P3 Ironhull Grey. (this is a dark grey)
I then traced the inside of this design (leaving a little bit of grey showing) with Vellejo Black Green. (this is a deep green color)
Now the fun part came. I did a "dip" wash with Minwax Polysshades Antique Walnut Satin 340. You can get a similar color look by doing a heavy wash of GW Gryphonne Sepia Wash, but I personally like the Dip process. And I am not actually dipping, I am dipping a brush (one that I plan on throwing away because it will wreck your brush) in the wood stain, then dipping it in water quickly and then mixing it around on a pallet (old cd :) ) see the below video for how too. Bootleg painting does a great video on how to do it.

Next I let it dry. Oh make sure you keep your fig in a SAFE place that is OUT OF THE WAY of children, you (I get impatient and want to touch my fig before it is dry) and especially SHEDDING CATS! because this stain gets sticky as it dries and a shedding cat that brushes up against your drying fig will leave A LOT of hair attached to your figure. Some of it you will not be able to get off because it has been coated with cat fur. I was able to pluck most of the hair off my wraith lord with tweasers. it took about 30 minutes...
Moving on the next step I did was mixing up a 50:50 P3 'Jack Bone and Marrow White together and doing a very light dry brush over the white areas. This was mainly to tone down the extreme shine of the wood stain, but it also lightens up the stain a lot.
Next I highlighted the purple with a 50:50 mix of P3 Beaten Purple : Marrow White. I did this on the edges of all the armor and the cloth.
I then went on to the vines. I did another layer of Vallejo black green. I then did a layer of 50:50 Vallejo Black Green and GW Snot Green, making sure to leave a little bit of the previous layer showing on the edges.
Next I did a layer on the vines of GW Snot Green. I made sure I left a little bit of an edge of the previous color. I then did a 50:50 mix of GW snot green: P3 Marrow white and painted on the layer, keeping a small line on the edge of the previous colors.
Thats all I have done so far. More to come.
how did you get the wraithbone effect, is it bleached bone with brown wash or what?....

@TheBloodStainedMask It is all P3 paint, but it is basically bleached bone, highlighted with skull white, then I "dip" the entire model by painting on a watered down wood stain, called antique walnut satin wood stain. I would recommend looking up how to dip miniatures before you try it.

@TheBloodStainedMask Also you could use a brown wash like sepia, but that would be a llot of washes.
