Not as full of interesting objects as my last video, but I thought that I should show that progress has been made. This video demonstrates the multi-layer curves, made out of scalable slanted pieces to make it easy for the user to construct just about any shape on the fly.

  • Wow. Just absolutely impressive. The most accurate recreation of a Sonic engine I've seen yet. I'd love to poke around your code and see how you approached slopes. We need more dedicated coders like you in the GM community to show all the power of GM!

  • ... Just post the current version of the EDITABLE!!! >_<

  • how do you make slopes that the character rotates on?

  • Looks great, however, bouncing on a spring without having to jump on it is bad, I'm sure you know this though and planning to make it so you can't just touch it and spring off.

  • awesome job! im creating 1 with wisp's powers

  • nice job man

your engine is like the word sexy..........in sonic form

  • A Sonic engine with accurate physics and easy to work with? Wow, it's a dream! =)

  • Very, very good job :D It works really well!
