@skippy0319 I remember reading an interview of Ricky in which he stated that he couldn't imagine getting old maybe in a way he won, He never recieved the praise he deserved and by the mid 60s was all too often seen as a has been teen idol when he was so very much more I think at least his music weathered the vagaries of popular taste and is seen for the artistic accomplishment that it was

He was much too beautiful to be a human in this difficult world. He has the face of an angel. What a waste that he died so young. God definately had other plans for Ricky. He was an angel in face and soul and is now gone with the ages. God Bless You Eric Hilliard Nelson. You were much loved here on earth.

I've got Bob Seger singing here!

I saw Ricky and Chris at the L.A. County Art Museum back in 1968. I was on a field trip there in my senior year of high school. They were pushing their baby carriage. It was such a lovely family scene to watch.

I also thank this was a wonderful tribute to Ricky. I have loved him for so many years, I always consider him my first boyfriend. I would have loved to have met him in person, or at least seen him in concert but I never did. But I have still always loved him. I miss him, I hope that he has found his pease in HEAVEN.
Todays is 31st here and a time to reflect on the fact that we lost Ricky so tragically and so soon. This world has lost some of the best and one of them is Ricky Nelson.
God Bless as I send up a Prayer for him. May he rest in peace. We Love and miss you Ricky and your sons are doing a fine job of keeping your memory alive while great musicians too in their own right. Like father...Like Sons!

Should have noted that its Bob Seger doing the song Against the Wind, but a fitting tribute none the less.
