Nine US states consider a form of castration punishment for those found guilty on sex crime charges. Is it a necessary step to curb pedophilia or a violation of human rights? Derek Logue writes about the subject in his book Once Fallen and says that while this method might reduce sex drive, the psychological functions that control those are not diminished and that the only thing being lost is freedom.
