Lisa Highfill ~ Pioneering Classroom Innovation with Google

Lisa Highfill's video for the Google Teacher Academy in Seattle 2011. Theme: Classroom Innovation.

My students were instrumental in completing this video as we were progressing through our Pioneer unit. They created the screen casts, the photos, the video clips, and the audio clip using Google and Web 2.0 tools. The photos were created with Instagram app for iPhone and the black and white videos were made using Super8 app for iPhone. The audio is Walt Whitman's O Pioneers.

My 5th graders wanted to share how innovative and creative they have become this year, they truly are Pioneers for 21st century learning.
