@TheDavid2222 Well, Tolkien does give examples of two characters at a time, there's a certain pattern. They both have a gift of same kind of power, but they use it either by gaining wisdom (right) or losing it (wrong).
Examples: Manwë and Melkor, Gandalf and Saruman, Galadriel and Fëanor, Théoden and Denethor, to name a few...

@joshua4469 prove that one thing you just said is true. Until then, it doesnt matter how many times you say that.

I can't imagine the detail it would take to create a whole, new language. What brilliance. And all his books and the details in those. Can't even begin to. I would have enjoyed meeting him. When did he have time for anything else? Like eating? lol I need to read this bio.

Jesus saves from the guilt of sin by faith in his shed blood. That is why he came to earth, to die on the cross for our sins so we could go to heaven through faith in his blood. Repent of your sins and ask Jesus to come into your heart. Once you are saved from your sins, you are saved forever. Faith in Jesus is the only way to heaven. If you die in your sins you will burn in Hell and the Lake of Fire for all eternity. God bless.

I believe that a small minority of people in this world have handled power wonderfully. Power does not always corrupt. It takes a strong will, but some are perfectly capable of weilding power. It seems that Tolkein often advocates the idea that human beings simply cannot handle power. Correct me if I am wrong.

That guy that is commenting at the beginning of this video is obnoxious. But the other half is interesting.
