I'm kinda obcessed with the song, and I'm also reading Interview With The Vampire. I thought it showed Claudia's desire to grow up and take control of her own life.

@allexx123 Well, you have to suspend your belief in order for the scene to be acceptable (for any of the movie to be acceptable really when you think about. It is about vampires XD.) I thought the same thing about hiding in their dresses but I think they came to the conclusion that their demise was imminent. Even if they had survived, it was just a child vampire and a newly turned vampire. They're were toast (haha, get it? Because the sun burned them?) either way. : (

When Claudia and Madeline were in the silo the Sun came in from the sky directly over head. First of all for a the Sun to come into the silo like that it would have to be on the equator, and second why did they not just pull their dresses over themselves for protection ?

when they are in their coffins no sun light could get in so if claudia put her dress over her it wouldn't protect her from the sun because it could got through and it would look really weird.
