There was knock on my door and it cracked open and I saw
Jeremy
"can I come in" he said
he walked in shutting the door behind him, he came and sat on the bed next to me.
He put his arm around me n I leaned into him and that was it the happy and fake smile I tried to keep plastered on my face 24 7 just vanished and I started crying.
"Whats goin on?" he said after awhile
I wiped my face pulling away from him and staring at the ground.
"Is it school?" he said
I looked up at him
"This stupid preppy snob broke into my locker and all my stuff but those books is gone" I said pointing to the 4 books on the bed, Jeremy looked at them picking them up, the paper back ones where
all wripped up from getting kicked around
"Those were getting kicked around the hallway" I said looking up at the ceiling trying to clear up my watery eyes, Jeremy looked at me.
"My locker is completly empty" I said
"I mean empty everything is gone" I said
Jeremy shook his head
"So thats why you need you a backpack" he said
I nodded taking a deep breathe.
"So what did you do to tick this stupid preppy snob off?" he said setting the books down.
I bit my lower lip looking away
"I talked to her ex" I said
Jeremy laughed and I pushed him.
"Let me take a guess here...Joe?" he said
Now it was my turn to laugh and I nodded
"she told me to stay away from him" I said
"Kinda like Dave huh?" Jeremy said
I rolled my eyes
"yeah..." I said my voice trailing off.
(Alex P.O.V)
I noticed Nick went the wrong way for my house and I knew he was going to his house but the radio was up and he was singing along and I wasn't about to say something to ruin my entertainment as I watched him sing at the top of his lungs with the radio and I joined him.
He pulled into the drive way turning down the song.
"Lets go get that elbow takin care of huh?" he said getting out of the car before I could protest I got out running after him towards the front door.
"Nick really I told you Im fine" I said as he opened the front door moitioning for me to walk in
I walked towards the kitchen but stopped in my tacks as I saw Kate and Kevin standing by the kitchen sink Kevin leaned in and kissed her I quickly stepped back and ran to stop Nick
"Kevin and Kate kitchen..k.i.s.s.i.n.g" I said quietly
"really??" Nick said silently moving quickly towards the kitchen.
"Nick! dont spy on them!" I whispered
(Nick's P.O.V)
I peeked around the corner and Alex was right there they stood kissing, I quickly moved back to where Alex was I was pointing to the door and she winked running over to it and opened it than she shut it loudly.
"Hey anyone home?" I yelled and me and Alex ran towards the stairs that went upstairs
Kevin and Kate came out of the kitchen smiling from ear to ear
"Hey" he said
"Hey.. Oh Hey Kate" I said as me and Alex ran up the stairs Alex waved and we got into the hallway. Once we were out of view we both started laughing.
"You two alright up there?" KEvin yelled
"Oh yeah were great" I yelled still laughing.
(Kay P.O.V)
"Im going to work!" Dave yelled as he walked out the door. Me and Jeremy sat in the kitchen.
"Alright cranky" Jeremy said as the door slammed shut. I had to laugh
"Alright lets go" Jeremy said getting up and grabbing some keys
I smiled getting up and grabbing my coat.
Jeremy had decided that we were gonna go get ice cream, and go get me a new backpack and a lock for my locker.
We watched out the window till Dave was gone and as Jeremy put it we ran for it.
It was fun getting out with Jeremy, it was the first time we had really done anything sense mom and dad.
Dave used to take me out all the time, but he had changed I mean I had no idea who the heck he even was anymore from the second we found out about mom and dad he had changed.
(Alex P.O.V)
Nick and me stood in the bathroom and he wrapped my elbow up
"You might want to take a advil I think its a little late for ice though" he said clipping the wrap.
"Thanks" I said
"yeah well you woulda thought the big butt woulda helped you up or something" Nick said starting to put away the stuff.
I laughed
"what?" he said
"big butt?" I asked
"yeah..." he said I laughed at him
I smiled at him and he smiled back, his phone was vibrating on the counter next to me I picked it up
"Ohh I think its cassie" I said
"why would you think that??" he said walking towards me
"uh I dont know the picture of her...the name Cassie" I said handing the phone to him
He answered it smiling
I left and went down stairs ugh she showed up every time things were..well perfect... Nick walked back all smiles
"Look its Mr. I've been struck by a love bug" I teased
Nick frowned
"hey the girl of my dreams just called me I have every right to be over the edge" he said smiling
"anyway I guess I better drive you home now" he said
