@youloveityouslags Oh I agree with you -- Flash isn't the future of the web and I don't think it should be on the iPad either. I just thought it notable how deliberately upfront they were about the lack of Flash, almost as if they see it as a feature and not a limitation of the device.
He isn't deliberately mentioning the lack of a dead standard. He was showing you the features of the device and had the decent apple sales pitch of not hiding pros and cons.
To be fair flash is about as useful as a horse with no legs. It's slow, buggy and really needs to be replaced.
