How we made this ad energy efficiently?
- AGL conducted a free home energy assessment of the location
- The house used as the location for the shoot was solar powered
- Exit Films (the production company chosen to produce the ad) is a signatory of the Rozelle Protocol which is a national convention of commercial production companies, advertising agencies and their clients, who are committed to slowing climate change
- Two sets of solar portable solar panels were used at the shoot to power lights on set and recharge microphone, phone and laptop batteries.
- Kino, LED and natural lighting were used where possible and around the make up mirror within the ad
- Biodiesel generator powered catering truck and monitors. Splits and onset Monitors were switched off when not in use.
