One male Mitsukurina with 3.15 meters and 99 kg was captured off Rio de Janeiro at 700-1000 m. The dissection video with analysis of reproductive system and stomach contents will be posted at the Brazilian Elasmobranch Society homepage (www.sbeel.org.br). The specimen was analyzed at the Universidade Estadual Paulista-UNESP by Dr. Otto Gadig, Dr. Teodoro Vaske and Dr Getulio Rincon.
