Bruised Heel Ministries is both Honored and Privileged, to present this profound message by Dr. David M. Butimore:
The message title is:
"The Two-Fold Mission of the Lord Jesus Christ."
The text was taken from Hebrews 7:11-28, focusing on the ministry of the Lord Jesus as our Great High Priest, by comparing the priesthood of Aaron, the first high priest under the Law, to the much more effective ministry of Jesus as high priest after the order of Melchizedek.
The second aspect of Jesus' mission was His command to His New Testament assemblies regarding the fulfilling of the Great Commission, a mission His church is to engage in, in order to have that aspect of Christ's mission completed in obedience to His command.

When asked if he would object to our channel featuring His message, he had this to say:

" So far as the message being on youtube, it would be my prayer that the Lord would use it as I prayed he would at Visalia. My prayer, at that time, was that the messengers and guests would have a time of special worship in the midst of our deliberations... I asked the Lord as I prepared and delivered the message that the Lord Jesus be exalted. In the same way, if the Lord will use it to touch and change lives but, especially, lift the name of Jesus, then I'm all for it. One of my great joys is seeing people accept Christ and then grow in His grace and in the knowledge and application of His Word."

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Dr. Butimore is the husband of the lovely Sister Debbie Butimore; a loving father and doting Grandfather.
He has a ThD degree from California Missionary Baptist Intstitute and Seminary (1990), and has pastored the Lord's churches for over 36 years.
He has taught in two seminaries for a total of 24 years, (California Missionary Baptist Institute and Seminary in Belflower, California, and Fresno Missionary Baptist Institute and Seminary, where he has successfully served as President In the Fresno Seminary for the last ten years, while also Pastoring the church there, In Fresno, California).
He is currently teaching three Hebrew classes, one Greek class, and a Parliamentary Law.
He is also the head of the Language department.
