Someone once mentioned that I should put this up in one up on Youtube, so here it is. This is a truly great tune by Don Mclean called Vincent (some folks call it by it's first line, "Starry, starry night". This version is a mix of Don Mclean's licks and borrowed ideas from Chet Atkins' version. Chet does it in either open G tuning or drop G tuning, but I wound up liking it best in standard tuning. It is one of my favorite tunes, so I hope you enjoy it.

  • Hey jces, thanks for kind words and stopping by to listen (or watch...). Excellent idea. It will take a couple weeks but I'll try and get that up. I think you're right, I think that would sound very cool. It may take me a bit, but I'll get it done eventually...lol. Keep checking back.

  • Oh man.I really enjoyed this

  • @jmstern22 I did get them confused, but I did end up buying a Martin OMC-1E. Great job that guitar sounds fantastic.

  • @DCmey I'll bet you were looking at the Martin OM-1. You can never go wrong with a Martin. They are turning out wonderful instruments. I can't say enough good things about Martin. Have fun deciding.
