  • I think it is a good ending for Lejes, since everyone moked and hated him because os his demon nature, and even proving being worth of better treatment.

Lejes being the one and only of the adventurers that realy needed something like this be payd for his hard work.

    VIVA LEJES!!! XD

  • Ah my friend but don't forget Lejes has an evil disposition. Basically the ending turns him into a good guy. It's a shame this game didn't have endings based on the main character you chose.

  • This was probably the first game that taken me 45-55hours to beat, only for it to have this horrible ending imo. I remember I broke my snes controller on the system cause the majority of this game was attack attack, inn, attack, attack, inn, attack died, reset, attack attack, died, reset etcetra. The longer you played it, the more annoying it became,This game is really for bragging rights, seriously, how many games you had played where almost every enemy can fucking cast resurrect or heal?

  • Such a great game, one of the first RPG's i ever played.

  • So the ending is the same for every character? Years ago I read about this game in Nintendo Power, and I'm pretty sure it said that the endings varied based on the character you chose. At the time this made the game seem very interesting, but now I'm kinda glad that I never got around to playing it.

  • One of my favorite endings Ever ! Great Post and i still have this game one of most memorable RPG's ever!

  • Well, that was anti-climactic to find out about. When I first played on the SNES, I went for Lejes 'cuz I like the option of evil endings.

  • I couldn't even get to the end boss. XD!!

  • Yeah, but a still say, the point is about how this same path give diferent view points about every character, and this is the whole point i was discussing, for Lejes, this make a shittload of diference, making him some kind of greatest character in development, i like to make esuna his partner, by her "take it easy" personality in her introduction, it make a lot of work on the history.

  • I know that might not be the answer to this argument you're looking for but when you break it down, that's what the real outcome of this game is all about.

I know I edited these last comments a shitload of times but I just wanted to give my opinion properly.

  • All the ambitions for the characters are laid out in the beginning of the game, in Lemele's throne room when you talk to them. Only the player has the choice in which moral path to take, and I'll tell ya it's a pretty linear one. Lejes, just like every other character went on to kill Gorsia in the end in hope of using the 7 runes for themselves to get what they desired, but got fucked over by a plot twist. Every character in this game is a mercenary, wanting to fulfill a life-long ambition.

  • Yeah, but the point is the character development, a said, this was goind to be a fitting ending for Lejes, as when he is geting closer to the end, the more he turns good, to the point of the Sorcerer in Guanta tell him that he have no evil.

I know that is the same for everyone, but because of his backgorund, he is the one that is the must worth of it.
