Seriously, Valve needs to hire you.

"a basic animation" *5 parts later*

I envy you, you people that can make this kind of things. For me it's not the same, I can barely make a doodle...

nice videos man. Do you ever use the other options in CAT like the layers and the weighting of layers? Would you say your workflow most of the time is just creating one layer and hammering away with it, animating only on top of that layer? cheers,

What program do you use to record?

What program is this???

Hey @thejazzman9475 i made an animation as well, but its in blender.
however since it is basically the same, your tutorial was REALLY helpful.
can you please look at mine, i posted it as a video reaction :)

i wish you could have shared this rig

@PikminInvader that's the price of animation. Take Avatar, for instance: the extended version featured 9 extra minutes, each minute costing $1 million.
First of all, you are an angel :)
I just want to ask two things if you have the time to answer...
1. In max 2011, whenever I hit the play button, max 2011 seems to hang. max 2009 doesn't have that problem. Do I need to change some settings somewhere to get max 2011 fixed? I posted this question in about a dozen forums and no one answered well.
2. What is the screen recorder program you used in these tutorials? I use hypercam but yours seem much better.
Thanks a millions for putting these vdos.

Thanks so much for putting these twelve tutorials together, especially the animation ones! Do you think sometime you could leave a desktop webcasting application open while you animate?

@joeybuddy96 Yeah I might experiment with that sort of thing some time, atm I'm finding it hard enough just to cram in all the projects I need to work on, and I forgot to take time to work on stuff like that, and tutorials.
