I personally love this cover. The original is nowhere near as good as this in my opinion. Although I do like these lyrics a lot.
Oh, and I like Death Of A Disco Dancer too, but I probably prefer this. Death Of A Disco Dancer drags on a bit.

I think Golden Lights is great song. My fellow commentors don't seem to like it, but then again, if they've never even heard it before, how can anyone take their opinions seriously, as Smiths fans?

Well, it's not 'definite' in some objective way. It is not a song for which I care; again, feel free to enjoy it.

I think most would definitely agree this one is worse then Death of a Disco Dancer! haha :P It is definitely definite in a subjective sense, then again what can be definite objectively?

They well may. It wouldn't change my opinion, though. It's been fun sparring with you. You clearly think about what you write, which is refreshing. :)

Enjoy your opinion. It's not one I share - weak lyrics, dull arrangement, to my ear (these things ARE subjective).
