I was able to run OS X 10.5.4 Leopard on my $300 eMachines computer. This computer would have cost about $1500 to $2000 if it were an actual "apple". This computer outperforms any computer i have ever owned. I will be making a tutorial on how to do this soon so be sure to subscribe to my channel. Also you can get some good info on how to do this and see if your computer is compatable to run OS X at this web site: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

Thanks for watching

  • i HAVE THE SAME PC AS U CAN U HELP ME PLZ IM FUCKN STUCK

  • What are you stuck on?

  • You guys think that this compares to a Mac just because it can run OSX. You guys don't notice the Celeron D in the eMachines. For $200 more, you would be getting a Core 2 Duo. I still don't see a $500 PC desktop that has a Core 2 Duo. And you better have paid for that copy of Leopard.

  • Your a fag. Hell no I didn't buy that copy of Leopard you bitch..

  • is this on a amd processor

  • No its a Intel Dual Core. You can still install OSX on a AMD processor but you have to get the AMD patched version.

  • @andydamg pathetic

  • i have a emachines 3l1333g with an amd 64 bit processor and 2 gigs of ram. but when i burned ideneb 1.6 on the dvd and booted it, i get to apple boot logo. which eventually gets a little circle with a strike over it over the logo. what do i do?

  • So, how did you manage to do it? I got an emachine PC that I don't really use any more (T5048) and I have been trying to get OS X installed but failing to do so. I just want to create apps for my ipod touch with IOS sdk!!!

  • @hvrock13 Agreed - each has it's strengths and weaknesses - only by using both, as you and I do, can an informed comparison truly be made. They both are nice in their own ways.

  • @GIMEchip I wrote this comment a long time ago, and my view has changed a lot more like yours. I like both. I'm actually at my community college in a computer basics class on Windows 7. Easiest class ever might I add. But I can't say I hate Windows 7. I just don't like a few things that have been changed around. Its still nice though. I like OS X and 7 equally for different reasons.

  • @hvrock13 Point Taken. I use MACs and PC's. OS TEN (I'm tired of hearing OS ex) is great, but I also like Win 7.
