For lovers of Russian built aircraft, this 162 minute double DVD is pure heaven. Aviation videographer Daniel Frohriep takes us on three special flights aboard Hemus Air Tupolev Tu-134s, before the type was retired by the airline.

This double DVD provides the viewer with a true passenger experience of what it was like to fly on the Tu-134. Right from boarding, engine start, taxi, take-off, to visiting the unique glass nose cockpit to inflight wing views, this DVD is a superb visual record of Tupolev Tu-134 passenger travel.

The engine sounds during start-up, spool up, take-off power, and the inflight power setting adjustments are absolutely amazing. Nobody builds airliners like the Russians, and the Tu-134's superbly loud Soloviev D-30 turbofan engines are captured in all their glorious splendour on this unique DVD.

Filmed with special assistance from Hemus Air, Daniel flew on three different Tu-134s for this DVD including Tu-134As LZ-TUP and TUH, as well as Tu-134B LZ-TUT. LZ-TUH was formerly with CSA as OK-HFM.

From the Hemus Air base at Sofia, we fly to Oslo, Larnaca, and Beirut. On all the flights we'll board the aircraft with all the passengers going up the airstairs and take our seat. The flight attendants give their preflight safety announcements and engines are started. During the flights we'll inspect the cabin in detail and even visit the rear lavatory to see the Tu-134's skylight the provides a unique view to the tail. In Larnaca, Daniel takes us down to the apron to view the aircraft up close during servicing. The amazing sights and sounds of flying this amazing aircraft truly make this a must have DVD for lovers of Russian built aircraft.

  • @pylon500 yes.....yes i do

  • I love the TUPOLEV 134, the best!!

The engine sound is very high and exciting sound like woman's shouting!

The body shape is very slim and elegant.

I feel the Russian philosophy from this.

I have been traveling many many countries with various air planes.

I say, TU-134 is the most exciting plane l've ever been :D

    Spasibo!

  • @dacchandacchan

I'd rather give 35 dollars to my friend pilot so he can take me to the flight with him, so I can experience the joy of flying.

  • @dacchandacchan
