my 7 week old baby hedgehog took a nice long nap on my tummy, and i caught his waking up cuteness. at about 45 seconds in, he yawns...and if you haven't seen a hedgehog yawn yet, you're in for a treat!

and no, it doesn't hurt to hold him. when he is scared and his quills are up, then its a bit uncomfortable. but he relaxes with me.
