It looks as though he must of had a huge ping or something. Multiple times in the video his enemies aren't even shooting at him, but where he's been.
Its kind of neat to see what the game used to be like, with the flash light guns and what not.

Planetside 2 would be amazing; and a great console MMO too if that's your thing. Nonetheless, I came back to the game with a 14 day trial and its a great game still, population seems decent, enough for at least 2 continents to be good battles, per empire, I'd say. At least, so far.
