Onward Christian Soldiers - Piano

Adaptation of the old Christian hymn, "Onward Christian Soldiers," originally written by Arthur S. Sullivan of Gilbert & Sullivan fame.

My stiff old fingers are only beginning to cooperate after several decades of just letting the piano sit silently in the corner. In spite of all the mistakes, I'm having the "time of my life" warming up the piano again.

Tom, you have very good control and technique. I can tell you had good training whenever you began piano. Keep up the good work and I would suggest scales and broken chords to get back into form. I'm a church organist, so I'm very familiar with this tune.

Thanks for your kind comment. The piece is from "Concert Transcriptions of Favourite Hymns" by Clarence Kohlmann, 1942. This and 2 other of his books are available at "Amazon" for a modest cost.
