Very unique handgun with a robust operating system. It combines the functionality I like with the rarity that I love! I will own one someday soon!

forgive the graininess of the video, the bulb in my key light popped and I didn't really want to run to the store this late to replace it

  • Also, Hi-Power is relative to mag capacity, nothing in JMB's lineup is actually of "higher power", just a term given to capacity compared to 7/8 rds available back in the day, ambi safety is nice and reversed safety works for me, things are tack drivers and GOV SHOULD have gone with these but alas politics, GREAT PIECE, RELIABLE, mags ARE out there and can digest ball/HP/+P/+ because it's a FIRST CLASS PISTOL with some very unique yet simple hardcore operator features, Enjoy It! They R-O-C-K!

  • @chris24michael - it sucks why the gov makes the decisions they do. I'm a big fan of Beretta's but they got the contract in the 80's because they agreed to basically sell the M9 to the man for like peanuts per unit and agreed to build a factory here. That' basically undercut everyone, and there are whispers that someone ratted out the dollar amount the man was looking for so they had a one up.

  • Ya dropped my gun on the counter top jerk face!

    Its not a hi-power either...

  • @sirshredalot haha

  • Concise review, they are amazing pistols, have 3 (2 OG BOXED/NBF), got mine from FLEO involved in GOV eval in 90's (GOV went with SIG) for $180 and 3 pitchers of beer and have never looked back or put it down. On third park, 2nd barrel, 4-15 and 4-10 rounders, og fire controls, FRONT SITE PIN likes to walk, TIP-floor plate of mag = P/R s/driver bump, can also SWITCH mag release to retain better control and use thumb to drop free, crisp, predictable trigger, eats everything, loves 147G Hydra-Shok

  • great video I own one also I bought mine back in 2005 for $400

  • Very cool with the Practical finish. I had a video of mine up for a while, they were made until 1998 as far as my information suggests. Great video!
