  • Yes, it doesn't matter! all that matter is he is one of the greatest writers ever and I love both of his books.

  • in fact, the whole world starts to know about your homeland Afghanistan thanks to you. Ok then, accept my humble encouragements. You really deserve more than these few words. Well done, brother!

  • Best writer ever! When I saw the name Khaled Hosseini in the book, for I knew nothing about the kite runner. I'm a Moroccan, thus an Arab. Nevertheless, got so frustrated when I saw the Arabic name which belongs to an Afghani writer so perfect and so fascinating which later I discover. Khaled, really, I really wanta thank you from the very bottom of my heart for the journey I travelled with you in a land I used to know nothing about. Now I know a great deal;

  • hehe the cute afghani accent...lailoo

  • Khaled Hosseini is an amazing writer and anyone who says any different is an imbecile. THE KITE RUNNER is a book which has moved me deeply.

  • hey it doesn't matter!

  • Great author, loved both his books (TKR slightly more than ATSS though)! But is it just me or is it weird to address an audience of adult, literate people as "you guys"?? Maybe it's just an American thing but it sounds like he's talking to a bunch of teenagers to me.

  • have you guys ever noticed that whenever someone tries to explain the book it really doesn't fit?

    its because you have to read the GREAT book!!!

  • both of his books are amazing. read them!!!

  • is he shia or sunni may god bless him
