This was the second (and best) of two pilots produced under this title for Fox Kids in 1997, but never became a series. Co-created and co-written by Jeff Nimoy, who provided many of the voices as well.

After seeing all three parts of the pilot, I have come to the conclusion that the corporate executives who rejected Chimp Lips deserve to be jailed and/or executed for committing the crime of not picking it up for a regular series. I would've loved this show.
