Norm Park of Oregon created this video. The power of these pictures shakes the senses. The storm was almost two years ago. It's cleaner now, but the trauma is still here. Getting past the losses of family, friends, community, homes, cars and personal stuff will take much more time, more time than some people have. Please take a few moments to think of those who have lost so much and still struggle to rebuild.

  • Looking at the pictures, now, makes me realize just how far we have come since 2005... driving through New Orleans everyday reminds me of just how far some of us still have to go.

Praying that Gustav, which seems to be headed this way, will not follow in Katrina's tracks.

Lord, please spare us another devastating blow.

  • My Condo is pictured on this Video. And the majority of the pictures were taken on Pontchartrain Dr\HWY 11. From all of us I want to say Thank You to all the people who came to help, Sent clothes and food to help, or even just prayed for us. God Bless Us All. From All The Residents Of Pontchartrain Dr In Slidell Louisiana, We Thank You!!!!!!
