Broken Pride AU Crossover (READ DESCRIPTION)

This crossover follows none of the actual Lion King story line besides the names of the characters.

Basics:
Nala and Simba are siblings.
Scar is Kovu's real father.
Scar takes the throne after Mufasa's death.

Walkthrough:
00:00-00:31
Nala and Simba are playing when they roll into a cub they've never met. The cub is surprised and scares them. He decides to have some fun and Simba obliges. Scar sees the three and steps between them, asking Simba what he's doing fighting his son. Simba is scared, but Scar laughs and says he was just kidding. They walk back to Pride Rock. Simba and Nala are Scar's niece and nephew.

Scar kills Mufasa, but it's not yet explained how. Simba is with his father's body and Scar comes to comfort him. The two other cubs catch up with Simba and Kovu is confused why Simba is so upset, Nala is horrified. In a rush of emotion Simba runs away with Scar in tow. Simba jumps off the side of a cliff, simply to escape the pain of his father's loss, but Scar grabs him and saves him. Scar comforts Simba saying how it wasn't anyone's fault. Simba leave, reassured. Kovu walks over, confused as to why his father was saying how Mufasa's death was a terrible loss instead of admitting his involvement. Scar explains that the pridelanders aren't ready for the truth, and Simba can never really be a friend to Kovu.
2:38- 3:07
It's 2 years in the future. Kovu and Nala are dating. They'd had a fight because Nala feels like Kovu is becoming distant. Simba walks off, annoyed by Kovu's attitude.
3:08-3:56
Kovu goes to Scar to ask permission to tell Nala the truth. He's becoming more uncomfortable with the fact that they killed Mufasa and still haven't admitted it to anyone. Scar refuses, and strikes Kovu in frustration. Kovu flees, finally done with his father for good.
3:56-7:00
Nala and Simba run to catch up with Kovu to see what's wrong. He admits why he's so upset.
*IMPORTANT*
Kovu's part in the murder was to distract his fellow cubs and keep them away from the pridelands. Simba sees a stampede from the top of the hill they're on, knowing that his father had gone to the gorge for some reason. Simba panics and runs to help. Kovu tries to stop him but Simba ignores him. Kovu is forced to follow.
Nala is disgusted by the truth, but Simba believes that Kovu didn't mean anything malicious, he was only obeying his father. Nala tells them off and leaves, while the two boys continue away from the pridelands.
7:01-8:01
Kovu explains his plan to Simba, about how he turned the hyenas into his own allies and plans to overtake the pridelands with him. Simba doesn't trust the hyenas and starts to feel like Kovu is just doing it for the crown. He leaves to talk to Scar, Kovu is pissed. Scar saw the entire conversation.
8:02 - 10:20
Simba goes to Scar to talk to him about what Kovu said. Scar talks too much, then turns it on Simba, asking if he's really so loyal to the pridelands if he left with a traitor. They both hear Kovu running towards them with the hyenas and turn to face him. Kovu calls Scar out on his lies and he and his allies move in to attack. Simba steps up between Kovu and Scar, more to stop the battle than to defend Scar. Kovu attacks in a betrayal-fueled rage. Simba intends to knock him out but Kovu ends up dying. Simba is horrified by what's happened and blames Scar. He tells Scar to get lost, and Scar leaves the pridelands. Simba let's him live, having had enough of death for the day. Simba passes out from the pain of his wounds, with Nala beside him.
10:20-End
Simba has a terrible nightmare, but wakes to find himself back in the cave with Nala. He sees the flicker of light and follows after it. He walks to the waterhole and looks into it. He sees his reflection, and is reminded about what he did not hours before. He looks up to see Kovu's spirit smiling at him. Kovu has no hard feelings about his death, but is glad to see his father's rule is over. They make peace.

I hope this makes sense to you guys! I'm sorry it's so long and goes too fast! I had to speed it up a lot to get everything I wanted in before I got too ridiculous with the time limit. Enjoy!
