I want to do hotels because the cons are usually in driving distance from here but while I was in japan I spent time with the other classes and made some new friends while in the hotels that helped me out of my hell with my horrible roommate. Me and friends are going to room at cons mid 2011 so that will be a blast .Don't go alone again , Its just asking for a blow to your self esteem , surprisingly when your around a bunch of nerds who make you feel accepted and normal.

Man , you make me so sad . I know how you feel when you are alone in a big place and you tack yourself onto another group .Those people sre not usually a burden , just avoid being too quiet as well as avoid being the absolute focus of the party . Going to a con solo must be sad , I left my friends for about an hour at a con once and god it felt so boring , I'm surrounded by amazing but I feel as if im alone and empty .

Oh god, I feel your pain. I went to cons a couple of times where...TECHNICALLY I wasn't by myself , but I was with my friend who did Artist Alley. So she was at her table pretty much the whole con...waking up early and going to bed early. I could swing by her table but felt kind of like a bother since she was working. And I just walked around, and for awhile was amused by watching other people with THEIR friends but then that made me feel even worse in the long run.

Hey Kaylyn! I saw Nash last weekend. We found a random coconut under a bush which he proceeded to chop open bear handed and we drank/ate it! So yah, Nash is the same as usual :) If you're ever in the NYC area let me know and we can meet up. -George
