I didn't know he played Kano till 2008. I found out he died that year too. Does anyone know what religion he was? It is sad he died at only age 40. :-(. He sure was handsome though.

@tronk9 Goddard was indeed English but he passed himself off as Australian in Hollywood, presumably to get roles. The dreadful fake Australian accent fooled the yanks because no-one can copy an Australian accent. Also, as another comment on this page points out, Waltzing Matilda was used in the ep of JAG, for which Goddard is best-known, when his character left JAG & returned to Aust. The scene was also replayed as a tribute to him after he died. HINT: Chk facts b4 calling ppl effing morons!

Very well done, Trevor played a great (if not stereotyped) character in JAG. The producers only got one thing wrong though (and a minor point), the ribbons on his uniform (see 0.27); more than an admiral when we first met Cmdr Brumby. Fortunately as the series went on they got it right.

It has a link with JAG and with the fact that everybody thought he came from autralia

Wtf? Waltzing Matilda? The guy was British, some fucking tribute when the person who made it doesn't even know what country the Trevor was from and didn't even spend the 30 seconds or so it takes to look it up. Fucking moron.

i just found out he was dead he was awesome in JAG
Goddard was the most underrated actor of all time. That man deserves so much more credit than he recieved. I firmly believe that after his career was going to go to new heights after his role in Pirates of the Carribean. Such a sad shame he died so young. He was such a beast. He played all his roles to perfection and was a true party animal in and out of the spotlight. R.I.P Trevor. You're in a better place.
