    Well I never! Youtube just gets better and better. I'd heard this song years ago and didn't know the artist or the song title. I knew a line from the chorus and I entered it in the search box and Voila! Up comes Hal Ketchum and "Sure Love". It doesn't get much better than this. Thank you nickytricky123 for posting this lovely song too.

    I'll re-state: My favorite male voice from the beginnings of modern country, and his sound then is still my favorite. Maybe country fans change what they call "modern" more often than blues fans do: We still call Buddy Guy & Otis Rush's sound "modern" blues, and that's from 19*6*2 ! :-)

    Ha, except he isn't modern country. Unless you're considering a song released in 1992 "modern".  He doesn't have the best voice of that era, but I think he's definitely one of the more underrated country artists from it.
