Tutti i miei soggetti sono controllati ufficialmente per le patologie tipiche della razza e pongo grande attenzione che i cuccioli crescano in maniera il più naturale possibile. A casa nostra non esistono gabbie d' allevamento se non per separare i soggetti durante i periodi di calore (che fortunatamente tendono ad unificarsi) ed evitare accoppiamenti indesiderati.
Tutti i nostri cani, grandi e piccoli, vivono in branco assieme al resto della famiglia ed ai gatti. Naturalmente di tanto in tanto ci sono delle scaramucce, a volte anche violente, ma si sono sempre risolte con lo ristabilirsi di quell'equilibrio di branco che spesso noi umani non riusciamo a capire.
Non ho il tempo e non amo molto le esposizioni canine, preferisco i raduni, ma comunque porto i miei soggetti almeno due volte in mostre nazionali o internazionali per avere un giudizio che li qualifichino almeno molto buoni; Clivia ha ottenuto addirittura un CAC. Spesso vengono penalizzati perché non toelettati a dovere o perché non sanno camminare come si deve nel ring, ma questa è colpa mia: preferisco non stressare i miei cani che vivono felici nel nostro terreno attorno a casa. Saltuariamente e con molta attenzione alle genealogie, facciamo degli accoppiamenti mirati ad ottenere cuccioli che diventino dei buoni soggetti: tipici, sani e con un carattere equilibrato.
Sappiamo benissimo che da due campioni non nascono solo campioni, ma la genetica non è un'opinione, anche se è molto difficile riuscire ad utilizzarla al meglio.
L'ambiente in cui il cane vive contribuisce almeno per il 50% alla crescita di un buon soggetto. Per essere dei buoni cinofili non basta amare il cane con il cuore: il buon amante ama con il cuore e con il cervello. E' necessario documentarsi, aggiornarsi e cercare di imparare il più possibile per migliorare le nostre splendide razze.

BREEDING PROJECT
What count for me is to select dogs that are typical, healthy physically and mentally.
All my dogs are officially checked for the genetic diseases typical of these breeds and I pay great attention to growing up the puppies as natural as possible.
In our house there are no cages and we only kept the dogs separate during the periods of heat (which fortunately tend to come at the same time) to avoid unwanted matings.
All of our dogs big and small, live in pack with the cats and the rest of the family. Of course from time to time there is some trouble, sometime even violent, but the problems are always resolved with the restoration of the balance of the pack, that often we humans fail to understand.
I do not have the time and am not very fond of dogs exhibitions and prefer the special breed meetings.
Nevertheless bring my dogs, at least twice, in national and international exhibitions for a trial which hopefully qualify them at least very good; Clivia got a CAC straight away.
They are often penalized because they are not properly groomed or they do not know how to walk into the ring, but this is my fault: I prefer not to stress my dogs which live happily around the house.
Occasionally and with great attention to genealogy, we targeted a mating to get puppies which should become good dogs: typical, healthy and with a balanced character
We knows very well that from two champions we cannot have only champions, but genetic is not an opinion even if it is very difficult to use it well.
The environment where the dogs live contributes at least 50% at the growth of a good specimen.
To be good dog lover is not enough to love the dogs with the hearth: a good lover loves with the hearth and with the brain. It is a must to read, to update oneself and to try to learn as much as possible to improve our wonderful breeds.
