pretty much the same as it is now, only the C will use R42s because the R38s will retire, the R40s will also retire, so the B will be mostly R68/68As with some R40Ms, and the J and N will be entirely R160s.

I can't wait to see the R42s run on the C. Let's find out in the future what subway car are there assignment and which subway car retires.

only the Phase II R32s and all the R38s are retiring. the C will soon use the R42s, but the E will continue to use the Phase I R32s for years to come

yes they are, in fact as of december 2007, the R44s have the worst breakdown rate of all cars in the system
