Chrono Trigger - Dual Character Low Level Challenge - Dragon Tank

Only the second battle and things are getting pretty rough. Make one mistake here and your HP is likely to reach zero within the next few moments. It's not a very complicated battle, though. You just have to know what you're doing, and you need to be quick.

Head heals all parts, so it must be taken out first. Conveniently, it also has the most HP, so you need to deal quite a lot of damage to it. And while you're doing that, you also need to make sure your HP doesn't go to low. Once the head is gone, the rest of the battle isn't too much to worry about and Lucca can easily solo the last part of the battle. Since only she and Crono are availible here, there's no need to do the battle twice and Lucca takes the EXP.

I always hated the head of that damned Tank...well played, old man! Looking forward to seeing how this all plays out! (I even feel inspired to attempt something of a possible challenge in Chrono Cross...once I finish my current playthrough of FF12, anyway.)

In the normal LLG, this is one of the hardest battles actually (there's also another kind, the tedious ones where your victory is guaranteed when you know exactly what to do).

With two characters it's the same though.

chrono and magus. chrono there cuss garland said he would be, and magus can solo the entire battle at his starting lvl.

Well I haven't played Chrono Trigger long enough to get to a boss LOL (I will pick it up sometime for the DS). Anyway I must of heard it from Kurikinton Fox or something...

Magus can solo Lavos, IIRC.
