Well done to everybody supporting Friends of Akitas and this magnificent breed. Thank goodness everybody doesn't think like Emma and or there wounld be no homes for these dogs only business for breeders. Having 2 rescue dogs (1 akita)myself I can honestly say that a puppy may be easy but it's not half as rewarding as rehoming an adult dog.

I love this charity. I auppourt dogs trust right now, I would never adopt a rescue Akita though, sadly. sorry if that makes me a bad person. From a puppy everytime. Beautiful babies though!!

Oh..how class!! It warms me to my cockles to watch that and see fury faces I have known and who are now is loving homes!!

Great video Nicola, just serves to highlight how many dogs friendsofakitas have managed to rehome in just 10 months.
Without FoA's dedication a lot of these dogs would have been put to sleep so you haven't just rehomed them, you've quite literally saved their lives.

Fab video - I rescued Mia, a pretty brindle girl, she is the sweetest thing ever. These dogs are amazing and deserve a second chance.
