The EU regulation on roaming will bring about a new era in mobile communications. Citizens travelling within the EU will be able to communicate across borders at affordable and transparent prices. Very high international mobile "roaming" charges currently affect at least 147 million EU citizens (37 million tourists and 110 million business customers).

  • These videos are so extremely lame. Does the EU think their citizens are all 8 year old idiots?

  • this looks like a kindergarden shitty video

  • eiapoce said: "Granpa is dead and they think about mobile costs? Nice picture."

    - Where did you hear gradma say granpa died? he is just in hospital, and poor old grandma wanted to let the family know, eventhough the phone-companies would rob both her and her family from this call. Havent the family seen enough misfortune?

Hey kids - Granpa didnt die, he is just in hospital! The nice doctors will take care of him.

  • The point is that if they have a sim card which must be refilled then they cant hear half of what happened, worse they cant help their grandmother by talking to her.

  • It's called the addition of insult to injury. Also, the exploitation by the phone company is particularly apparent when her dad is ill (not dead, BTW). She shouldn't need to worry about it, but any responsible person who cares about their financial situation and isn't living a cosseted life would.

Paunescule. Disagree about the quality. It's in the style of a kid's cartoon (as, e.g. South Park is), it's not something a kid could make. If you think it is, please provide an example of such work.

  • Bizarre...

  • Granpa is dead and they think about mobile costs? Nice picture.

  • It is absolutely laudable that the European Union has reduced roamnig prices for mobile phone communications. They should keep up the good work.

I have some comments about this video. First of all the quality is absolutely laughable - a kindergarden child would have done better. This would be justifiable if the funding directed at this campaign was indeed limited. Second of all, the message of the video its capacity to convince anybody is doubtfull at best. A lot of things must improve here.
