  • Why is it a problem that mothers make choices such as devoting time away from work to be involved with raising their kids ? I would imagine some of them think that if someone is going to raise their kids it might as well be them. Why should the full time career person stand aside for someone who works part time or is away for half a decade and let them return at the same wage and seniority as if they never left ?
