About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
Wow it was an insightful presentation!
She is one of the few in the world that are successfully working in the Intersection of art and technology. While designers and illustrators have already integrated technology in their production routine and marketing process, very few artists are doing the same.
Technologists are becoming the best communicators by using social media and technology to interact with more people online and offline.

I very rarely give compliments of this magnitude: the following video from TEDx Tokyo on how to make art a relevant populist experience for the 21st century is unfailingly brilliant, eloquently spoken and dead-on in analysis,

A unique big picture take on the field itself and art's potential for more relevance in people's lives. Thought-provoking comparison between the art world and the technology industry.
