I modified a set of tunnel mounted ice scratchers and mounted them to the skis. They can rotate but it would be a best to place them in storage position. Works great !!

  • Ohlins part number YA 655. They keep the front end planted in the rough stuff and handle the high speed G outs much better than the stockers . No more fading after 20mins of hard riding :)

  • how did u make them i would like to do this to my apex

I replaced the original ski bolt with a longer ( hardened steel ) bolt . Picked up a set if Kimpex tunnel mount scratchers. Grab a couple big washers and mount them using the long. bolts. Drill a 3/8 hole in the back of each ski to hold them when not in use. I also upgraded all the idler wheels to the larger Excell wheels. The sled rolls free now with no hyfax wear .
