@OwNZorZ Hawkins did not play on TCATS. Grohl played the drums on Everlong (and every other song) on TCATS. I think the intro to "Doll" is the only Goldsmith part that wasn't re-recorded by Grohl on TCATS.
@mefmef21 use a metronome and do 16th notes at a pace that you can do for a minute without tension. Slowly add about 5 bpm on the metronome when one speed becomes easy. The problem ur having is that your trying to play fast when ur muscles aren't ready for it. Be patient, it won't come overnight, but if u keep practicing to a metronome like that u'll get where u wanna be!
Just practice and your body will figure out the rest for you. My only tip to work on the tiredness would be to play drums rolls until your arms burn and soon enough your arms won't ache anymore.
Practice practice practice. I used to get that but i play so much that i worked up more endurance. One thing you can try first is to leave out the snare hit annd just keep that speed up on the hi hat. Then once you get really comfortable you can try adding in emphasis on the hihat istead of snare then start adding in the bass kicks then finally move to the snare. Rock on dude!
Good lesson!
