This is a band who 'communed' with their instruments and with each other. They are not 'thinking' about what they should be doing for their audience. They took chances and they improvised. That is what made them so great, organic and exciting to watch.

Today's bands who try to sound exactly like their own studio recordings will never stand the test of time.

No rock band has ever been as good, powerful, and exciting as Led Zeppelin during their first few years of existence. Listen to Bonham and Page at 1:29, that's real rock. Imagine this entire show with professional audio & video quality released to the public. I want it. Even in this downloading digital age, an official release of a full early Zep concert would still set sales records.
