The 13th annual Batesmans bay Apex trailbike rally was held over the weekend of 6/7 of august and with around 400 riders turning up for a weekend of dirtbikes , camping and having a good time all was looking good.
After traversing the many hills and valleys you eventually come across what is known as Pork chop hill.
It was my first time at the rally and the first time i had seen old pork chop in the flesh (so to speek). I had read about it in magazines and seen many pitcures....From a distance it looks prety climbable but when approaching it from the bottom side its BIG. When you get to the base of it , it is just straight ( roughly 1 km) up on loose rocks, little boulders, shale and everything you could imaging it having to make it an exciting hill to watch the brave encounter and see who comes out on top.
Over the few hours it took to capture these images there were only 1 or two guys that made it all the way to the top.
It does indeed jasssapeanuts, getting out in the bush playing in the mud is just awesome
