owning a pit bull i appreciate this video very much. there is so much ignorance about this breed i can't stand it. everyone who has met my dog has had to rethink their thoughts on pit bulls. i have even had people to be surprised how loving and friendly she is. it is ridiculous how prejudiced people allow themselves to be solely from what they hear on TV

ps..that death rate is due to over population because of over breeding. on average 93% of all pit bulls entering a shelter are killed which means only 7% are actually adopted. just wanted to clarify.

pit bulls have a 7% survival rate in the US and an average shelter population of 40%-60%...imagine how many end up dead every day nationwide.

good job!!! there was never any room for people agression when the breed was being created when they fought people had to break them up so they can regain energy if a pit showed any sign of agression to people it would be instaintly killed and some people would never breedthe blood line would neve

great vid i wanna stress the fact that there are 26 completely different breeds labled as "pitbull" because over half the population can't tell the difference between an american pitbull terrier and these other breeds. back in the day before bad media and identiity problems american pitbull terriers were known to be better family dogs then labs and goldens they still are in my book they were trusted baby sitters i had a number of american pits growing none never even growled at me!

I absolutely love this video I am a proud owner of a Pit Bull and she is my favorite girl in the world I wouldn't trade her for anything she is awesome w/ people of all ages from newborns to the elderly (i take her to the nursing home to visit my great uncle and the rest of the patients there) and animals of all kinds (I have 13 animals of all sorts that she lives and interacts with)

(for the record i've seen this video before but i just got an account recently.) The thing people need to understand is NO dog is born vicious.

Pit bulls were actually called nanny dogs because they're so sweet with children. A friend of mine had a pit. People who, who were throwing rocks at the dog, were attacked by it and sued for it. Some how they won and the dog was put to sleep. Gogo (the dog) was the sweetest dog in the world and only acted in defense.
