There's a video of a Viper doing the 1/4 mile in 6.75 seconds. It actually registered 8.75 seconds, but that's only because the driver didn't start revving until after the go-light flashed (and waited a good 2 seconds before launching off) causing his time to register much slow that what it would have been had be got off right at green (6.75)

@soccerpeve There's a video on here of Ranger going 11.02 in a 100% stock C6 ZO6. Elsewhere on a forum I found someone who went 10.98@129. Ended up going 10.74@130 after he swapped to drag radials. Ranger is also the person who went 11.x with a 100% stock C5 ZO6, the 405hp one. Sure it takes a phenomenal driver, and you're not likely to run across these people, but the point is, the cars are capable of it, even if the driver isn't. And Ranger went 10.73 from a stock ZR1.
