Its pretty fucking obvious that several Dems and all Republicans are OWNED by the rich who have no qualms about killing our own people to make a few extra bucks.

I think you have me confused with another person. I just found this video yesterday. Anywho, I said I was sorry for you because
1)You said, "it isn't even socialized insurance".
2)Then you said, "If you don't understand (this)...I feel sorry for you".
3)Since you did not understand it IS socialized insurance, you must feel sorry for yourself.
4)I feel sorry for people who feel sorry for themselves.

Also I'll admit I was wrong before.
They didn't clarify the section after joe wilson called obama out. In fact it was like that before he did.
House bill HR 3200 sec: 246, subtitle C, Title II has always said specifically: "Nothing in this subtitle shall allow Federal payments for affordability credits on behalf of individuals who are not lawfully present in the United States."
Spare me your fake indecisiveness, bringing up something not even in question and using it to discredit something.

Yes, health INSURANCE ran by the government. I'm not sure why you feel sorry for me if you are the one just now finally getting it. (You were saying socialized medicine before which is different.)
"If you agree that all illegal aliens and people who test positive for illegal drugs get thrown out on the street immediately, even if in need of assistance, once it has been discovered that the person in question falls under either category, then I will agree to socialized MEDICINE."

I feel sorry for you. The public option is socialized health insurance. What is socialized health insurance? Health insurance ran by the government. Simple definition. Note: I am not saying whether socialized insurance is good or bad. Just defining.

sorry this char limit is annoying.
And even if everybody switched, the jobs disappeared, the companies disappear, and the CEOs who profit from others' misfortune went bankrupt and had to live a life of mediocrity like us, it is still worth millions of more people having access to healthcare.
Don't bring up USPS budget problems, they are subsidized. Don't bring up bureaucrats between drs and patients, ins companies already have those. Don't bring up death panels. You can have the last word.

It doesn't matter that it keeps changing since we are debating the merits of an idea, and not the bill itself.
It wouldn't be the only thing standing 6 years after, and you know this because people are willing to pay more money for better service. The variety of mail carriers are a testament to this, and some provide services USPS doesn't.
No it can't just print money.
Even if everyone did switch. (which they won't) so what? the jobs switch over too, and more people get to live.

Congress keeps changing the way that their bills line up so discussion on such a topic becomes difficult since it changes a lot and the House version is different from the Senate.
A public option of that nature would be the only thing standing in 6 years post activation. A "company" that doesn't have to turn a profit and can print money if needed will always be far cheaper (not necessarily better though) than a private company. Everyone's employer would switch to that and kill the rest.

Your dislike of the mandate is founded in my opinion and I agree with what you have to say about it. But to say that progressives and TYTs are pushing for it is just wrong, I happen to know because I consider myself a progressive of sorts.
If you had been watching their vids on the healthcare issue you would know that their view is reasonable. Cenk has even said a while back that he didn't want a single payer system, but a public option funded through premiums (not higher taxes).
-
You were talking about how the senate bill is not socialized medicine and you are correct. Social med like TYTs and others want is the goal of progressives.
I never said this current senate bill was a public option.
The current senate bill forces a person to buy a private sector service. That is unconstitutional. Precedent would then be that congress can make you buy a service of their choice. Everyone congressmen invests in a gym and pass a law that everyone needs a gym membership.
Get Cenk on TV now ffs.
