We apologize immensely for the delay - technical difficulties while on the road hampered the uploading of this segment by several days. Anyway, the panel looks back on the career(so far) of The People's Champion, Dwayne Johnson aka "The Rock" Rocky Maivia, including some of our favorite matches & moments. Hosted by Eric Santamaria.

  • You say he had no memorable title reigns? How about from King of the Ring 2000 to No Mercy 2000 he had a pretty good reign and did some good stuff with Chris Benoit. The highest moment I think in the attitude era, if you can point to one was The Rock finally beating Triple H "one-on-one" at Backlash 2000 I can't think of any other moment where the stars aligned so perfectly for that to happen even though they did kind of recycle the Vince/Austin storyline to make it Vince/Rock

  • @mothercanuckers I loved Rock's short but awesome last title run from July-August 2002. The one you mentioned saw him win the title in a 6-man tag at KOTR by pinning Vince no less, the triple threat at SummerSlam w/ Angle & HHH was ok but I feel like this whole time the most focus went to Angle/Steph/HHH anyway, the 4way at Unforgiven wasn't memorable and Rikishi fucked him against Angle at No Mercy. Yeah, the Fully Loaded match w/ HWWDNSO was good I suppose, but I prefer 02

  • when did joe pesci join the roundtable?

  • I don't blame him for going to movies but if he was not going to be in WWE a lot he shouldn't have said "I am never, ever, going away"

I know, i know, he never meant he was back full time, but he should have been smart of enough to know people would take it like that

  • Jericho can go to the ring, do nothing and get the biggest pop. Also, I think Cena and Punk would be able to do, but not to the degree of Rock and Hulk.

  • backlash 2000 was the best match hands down

  • @mistanderson ???

  • @ProWrestlingThinker WHY he shouldve said it?

  • @mistanderson I agree, don't have too tell me about it, my point was was that he shouldn't have said that.

  • @ProWrestlingThinker Point is ppl need to stop crying about "He said he was never gonna go away" Smart ppl know what he meant when he said that. He was absent for a long time not being involved with the WWE stuff like Austin was. Rock did it all. He don't need to wrestle full time.

  • @mistanderson what is your point?

  • @ProWrestlingThinker Too bad you were dumb enough to thought that. I and others know that he wasnt gonna be full time. SMDH
