@jeffreychris2 I don't agree with calling the other team fag*ots or any of that... but "Eat Sh*T Pitt" has been a traditional chant for over 50 years for this rivalry game, so I don't know if anybody is going to stop that

Only WVU fans, and Pitt fans understand how much we like our team to win. No one else will ever understand. I HATE Pitt. I would like to see them lose every game of the season. Thats just something only WVU/Pitt understand.

@jeffreychris2 .... marking the first and only time in history the USAF was used to attack its own citizens. Read about the Miners' struggle in WV from 1880-1930 and you'll understand why we're proud to be called rednecks. Then look at the way we're portrayed in the media and and culture as stupid, inbred, backwater peons. WV citizens are hardworking proud people who are routinely and systematically disrespected by the rest of the nation. So we show that disrespect right back. Eat shit Jeff.

@jeffreychris2 When you understand the sad relationship between the state of WV and the rest of the nation (esp. PA) you'll get why we're aggressive. This nation could not have been built without the coal from WV (being responsible for 80% and 30% of the nation's steel and power respectively, yet none of the money or benefits went to the state because of back door deals made by the "robber barons." When miners tried to unionize, federal airplanes bombed their homes....

@jeffsamardzija I just said a lot of us aren't even from WV, 45% of our school is out-of-state and we're represented by all 50 states. So you actually don't have 49 states. I'm from Pennsylvania and no one around here even likes Pitt...But it's cool, you can keep hatin'...we'll just have to see.
