This is the first time EDF Energy has ever aired a TVC. Which is part of a full scale multi-media advertising campaign that goes live on Sunday (6 January 2008) with this 60 sec TV advert made entirely from recycled film clips.

The soundtrack featured in the advert, "It's Not Easy Being Green", has been adapted from the original version written by Joe Raposo for Sesame Street in 1970. In this case the song is used to highlight that while it may be difficult to change behaviour over night, it's up to all of us to become part of the solution in helping combat climate change.

  • type in 'The Call Centre Song' LOL!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!

  • @tubeofpaint g for nearly 90 years to produce any where near as much electricity as one EPR station over a lifetime and if we shut down all the nuclear reactors cities between the hours of 5:30 and 9 pm will experience blackouts due to a lack of power and unreliability of wind turbines but also solar power and the inefficency of tidal and hydroelectric the only other method would be coal fired or gas fired power stations but that is going back in time and they have a higher fatality rate.thanks

  • @tubeofpaint nope it isnt one of the new epr stations costs £3.4 billion and i know that because i work for them and i went to flammenville yesterday to look at it in france it has a lifetime of 60 years and if they look after the reactor and dont run it at 100% all the time which they dont because i saves money in maintenance it can then be extended for another 20 years and in that 80 years it produces 1650 Mw a year 132000 Mw over a lifetime and it would take over 1000000 wind turbines runnin

  • @aknight1990 good stuff :) someone sees sense
